Creativity Special Interest Group (SIG) 1
📅 Wednesday 14 October 2026 | 4:00–5:00pm
Join a growing international community of language educators passionate about making language learning creative, authentic, and inclusive. The Creativity in MFL Special Interest Group (SIG) brings together teachers from across all phases of education to explore how imaginative and culturally rich approaches can deepen linguistic understanding and inspire learners.
In this session, we will share practical strategies for embedding creativity into everyday language teaching, helping students engage more meaningfully with phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and culture. Together, we will explore how creative and authentic approaches can support inclusion, strengthen learners’ sense of belonging, and make language learning both memorable and joyful.
Whether you teach in primary, secondary, or higher education, this is an opportunity to connect with like-minded colleagues, exchange ideas, and be part of a supportive international network.
